hhmmmm hard one, but i think the quick turn shud be in, as they do quick turn to the maid woman in the first movie lol is that the quick turn type of thing you guys are refering to, the turn around really quick and blast your proton pack?

I don't really see the big deal with quick turn around, I mean I literally never use it in Left 4 Dead. Not saying others can't want it, just voicing my opinion. Although not having a quick turn around feature is slightly more realistic as it'd probably get pretty tiring constantly turning around quickly with 40+ lbs of equipment on your back.

To be perfectly blunt about this, doing a quick turn with a 35 pound proton pack would be more of a nuisance than a help. Also since more stuff is going to be added to the pack, it might weigh even more.

If you are not careful you might fall on your ass, excuse me, if you weren't balanced enough to do that. I know I would.

Anyway I don't need to quick turn, if my buddies got my back I shouldn't need to. Remember you are not the ONLY ghostbuster on the field and even if you were seperated for a while I doubt you would be surrounded like that.

It is also unfair to compare this to say Resident Evil 5 because in GB you don't have to manually aim and shoot. You just hit the right trigger it starts firing. While they are both Third-Person, they don't behave the same way.

Point taken.

For situations where you could potentially get boxed in, I can see the need for a quick turn feature. As it has been suggested, yes in one sense it's hard to comprehend quick turn movements while having such heavy equipment on your back but the rookie is already power running with great speed while wearing the gear so I think quick turning is feasible here.

That however is the only thing I can agree with the article.

“Proton Streams too wild”
The Ghostbusters would probably agree with you but would quickly point out that this is a side effect of using such technology and you have to work around it. If you want more straight fire weaponry, then go back to Halo, Call of Duty or Gears of War. We'll take authentic proton stream firing from the movies thanks.

"
In-game versus CG cutscenes“
*facepalms* Not doing yourself any favours when trying to convince a ScrewAttack.com member like me, that believes a good proportion of video game ”journalists“ are just BS, that you are in fact worthy of the title of Professional Video Game Journalist with a statement like ”cut-scene graphics don't match in game CG“.

It’s a valid point to bring up when reviewing a completed game. Not when PLAYTESTING with an early BETA VERSION of a game that IS STILL IN PRODUCTION! He fails!

”Co-op, anyone?“
So that multiplayer option on the screen is just there just for show? Sure online co-op of the story would be cool but TR had a good valid reason not to do so. In any case had attention be taken in interviews done by other IGN staff as well as any other gaming website, TR has mentioned making your own custom playlist of campaign like missions in multiplayer mode.

”Waypoints and maps“
If you can't use the PKE Meter and Para-Goggles given to you to find your way around, your contract of employment with the Ghostbusters will suddenly come up for ”review" quicker than you originally anticipated!

Isn't there an upgrade in the game that makes the beam more accurate?

Could have sworn I've seen a screen with that upgrade as well.

There's a proton beam “focusing” upgrade as well as a “reduced recoil” upgrade.

GTA 3 and on are pretty similar in the camera system department as they were third person.

The camera can be manipulated in those games while its mainly fixed on your back in this game. That's the key difference.

Why?

Iron Man is a god awful game, that's why.
