Sweet, thanks. One thing I don't get for the Wii version though is why the proton stream is blue, that kinda confuses me, and yes, I will admit, I hate how the Wii version seems to be geared towards younger people.

Damn you family games!

Its not so much the graphics that bug me, I like that Pixar-esque look, but the fact that they toned down the adult themes, not so much.

If you notice, that image with the blue streamer is concept art and not a screenshot of the game in action. The preview text states that the stream is orange and red, with electrical sparks running through it.

Without playing each version, or even seeing a review/video of the game in action, how can you tell that the XBox360 version rocks or is in any way better than the Wii version? Only time will tell.

From the very limited screenshots etc. that I've seen, both look and sound good. But then, most games do in the early stages…

This paragraph worries me:

the Wii version will be the other way around, with the main emphasis on multiplayer. As a result, the single player campaign will follow the same basic events as the other versions, but will deliver it in a “softer” way. In other words, there'll be less story and less dialogue. Like it or not Wii owners - Ghostbusters on Wii is being designed to skew younger than its brethren, so don't expect the adult themes from the films to make it through.

The “less story and dialogue” REALLY bothers me. Do they think all Wii owners are children who can't handle stories?

They do know of games like Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 and Resident Evil 4, right? I actually will be pretty angry if they dumb the Wii version down that much.

Red Fly swears they'll treat it proper, though.

Still, today's article does not put the Wii version in a positive light at all.

It seems like it, I hate how the Wii is perceived as a kiddy machine. That really kinda pisses me off since its my favorite console, and I'm 26. Damn, I mean honestly.

I still got it on reserve though, I can't wait to try story or whatever with 3 other people, that'll be quite cool.

i actually really like the Wii proton pack design

its has the look and feel of a proton pack, yet is creative in its own way to fit the style of the game..

i am a big fan of it.
