I'm starting to wonder if this game isn't a bad thing (yes I'm a heretic), but I can see no body being happy with it…

LOL, I *AM* HAPPY!

The game is promising!

I wish PS2 was goin to be like 360, but I believe they will do something amusing. PS2 made so many games based on simple “free violence” that it will do a nice change. AT LAST.

(…)

When you like something (ghostbusters here), you want the best for that product. It's normal to criticize what you don't like. It's to push the potential. And the game is not finish yet.

(…)

It's not complaint, it's a “project booster” (*egon)

Realy, I'm surprised that no other suggestions followed after mine

About StayPuft, I wanted to add this: it's not the original marshmallow man, the programers can do anything with him… it can be very interesting.

Aside from the lack of Gozer's influence, who says it isn't the original Stay Puft?

Considering the fact that the entire city is now Gozer crazy, I'd be inclined to beleive that in some capacity we see the Return of Gozer. Enough people believe and want to see Gozer, and the gateways are opened. Maybe something is just using Gozer as a puppet.

We'll see who's pulling the strings, Geppetto

who says it isn't the original Stay Puft?

Who said it is? :p

First, he exploded in GB1.

Second, if he returns, he'll be back with a vengence. I think he'll be more dangerous than the first time.

Correct.

Haha, sorry about that then, but yeah, I'm thrilled with it so far, and I can't wait till next October.

First, he exploded in GB1.

And? There was all that ectoplasmic marshmallow leftover afterward he'd blown up, we saw that at the end of the movie. Given some sewars may play a part in the plot, it's not impossible to believe he puts himself back together, either through his own sentience or by the growing power of the following of Gozer.

Second, if he returns, he'll be back with a vengence. I think he'll be more dangerous than the first time.

…and how does that discredit the idea that he is the original Stay Puft?

:p Oh if you realy want me to give an answer, I can say that paranormal activity is very unpredictable; how many people at the same time, in different parts of the world, believed that they saw the reincarnation of Jim Morrison? It can be any “StayPuft” :p

I was not serious, don't worry (^_^)

It all started with my “monster under a candy form” concept. Like you said:

the unusuaed concept would've been that after the marshmallow had burned off, he'd be reduced to a stickey skeleton.

Now that he is back, he can have something changed… like the T-800 in “Terminator2”. That's why I said

the programers can do anything with him… it can be very interesting.

They can put that skeleton back in the script or other concepts. Even the GB1 concept. In short, of course he is the original StayPuft… v2.0, so, he's not the original StayPuft

It all depends of the point of view (^_^)

As long as he's not firing lasers from his eyes (as in the Genesis game). (^_^)
