How a ghostbuster can save the world… and peacefully sleep, after, close to a “nightmare in a box” (the containment unit) without thinking about a way to send its abomination back in the otherworld.

They seemed to manage pretty well in the first film, second film, cartoons et all. I don't know if there'd really be a way Egon could send them back into the netherworld without risking them coming back and returning to their old haunts (pun very much intended).

I realy hope so, there was no containment unit and manifestation left at the end of the movie.

I wonder what kind of look they had, when they returned in the firehouse at the end of gb2.

Peter hurries in the basement followed by the others. He didn't had to turn on the light, the ones coming from the containment unit were enough.
Peter sighs and smiles at Ray.

Peter - “At least, we don't need to feed them.”

Ah, well, if that doesn't work, then Zack, King, et al can fall back on their ban-sticks. Only, I don't know how well they'd work on ghosts…

Gotta be more successful then the Filmation Ghostbusters ever were. :p
