Maybe the guys just never knew you were qualified(for whatever reason). I'd send ‘em an email.

No, it's not even senoirity… Its the fact that someone who has been here for years and years probably won't be gone in a week and you know what a person is like by knowing the for a while… Just about everyone can make a good impression yesh… And most of the mods just saw the “Post here to be a mod” thread… Like what the hell kind of a way to pick mods is that….

I'm sure that it took a lot more than that. I wouldn't be a mod if I hadn't made an impression with how I handled situations before, and the fact that I am still a mod at 2 other places, and have been modding for about 4 years.

I wasn't a friend of this group from the old GBN. I'm still trying to warm up to them. I hardly know any of them

on the topic of thier being to many mods….

i believe thier was about 12 mods for teh old boards, we would spend countless hours deleting posts by spammers. With the 12 of us, we could never cover every post…

Now we have close to 30 mods, which means theirs a pretty good chance taht thier will be at least 1 mod on at any given time… and it lightens the workloads for all of us…

Not trying to start anything here…but

Exactly how many of the 12 actually did anything? I mean there may have been some behind the scenes stuff but mostly I saw Zack, back, and Ron pulling the heavyweight. And GBVA in the Paranormal boards. I barely saw any other mods doing anything. Maybe that's why the GBN boards were spammed. Still with banning powers I think mods shouldn't have to worry to much. And also as this is a very new board and area and with less members, are this many mods really needed? I mean there's 25 mods!! There's not even enough topics and posts and stuff for 25 mods. A healthy 10 or so would've been fine I think.

But I have no problem and am just voicing my opinion. I have no problem with any mods. Just the whole application thing. And I do know that there are so many mods so that there will be someone on at least every hour or so. So I respect that and now I realize why there are so many mods…

Honestly, I ahve to agree with DaneGB over there…the whole sabre holder thing kinda gets to me a little considering there are people who have been here for years and know so much more..this guy becomes a mod and no one knows who he is…
