A graphic novel is a glorified comic book, it has great quality artwork in it and is many more pages than a usual comic book. The paper quality is much nicer as well.

Lithography: 1 : the process of printing from a plane surface (as a smooth stone or metal plate) on which the image to be printed is ink-receptive and the blank area ink-repellent (usually by use of a greasey substance)
2 : the process of producing patterns on semiconductor crystals for use as integrated circuits

Hope that helps!!
