My fan film, is a star wars/ghostbusters Spoof and I would love to include slimer but does anyone know how I could do this? I could tell you the plot of the first movie but it doesn't become deep in the GB till the end of the 1st movie and 2nd and 3rd it a Trilogy. But I will tell you anyway. The first movie is a pretty much a big spoof on Ep2. It about this guy when he was kid saw a commericial, about becoming a jedi. So when he grows up, he wants to become a jedi but he a loser. That the plot of the first movie. Now to explain what happens that involves GB. Well right b4 he barges in on the Jedi meeting, one say who are we gonna call and a flash backthing with the gb theme with footage from the movie. Then that guy barges in and you think that the end of GB in the movie but it isn't… The rest is pretty much spoilers if anyone cares becuz when Im done making it I'll be posting it on the internet. So any way, then at the end when they kick the bad guy ass and he bout to get up and strike them behind who stops them, a Ghostbuster. THe Sith Lord is shot from behind with a proton and drag into the trap. Then for the 2nd movie, the ghostbuster as jedi traing to be first JEdi Ghostbuster, and his gun is alter so it can have a lightsaber or shoot proton beams. ANd there mix of catching ghosts with killing sith. THen the loser guy get jealous and go to the ghetto rapping DArk side which is controll by the Emporiss. The 2nd movie to be called Hank Strikes Back(Hank is the name of loser) Interesting little plot isn't

just raw slimer and make him green then scan it into your comp and make it a tranparansy

Judging by your… um, treatment it sounds like you've got a very ambitious project for an independent fan film. The type of FX rendering that you're looking for isn't going to come to you cheap, you'll have to invest in some off the shelf software like After Effects, or Apple's new design program which will set you back a couple hundred clams. Take a look over on the Fan Film area over at theforce.net they've actually got great resources as to how to CGI elements into your films.

But it'll cost ya.

Maybe you might want to do as Dan had to do with the GB script, look at it again and figure out how you can do it- well, cheaper.

I figure a lot of it out. It will work, Im getting alamDV if you heard of it. The only problem Im going have is with the ghosts. THanks for the help though. If worse come to worse there won't be a lot of ghost in the Trilogy but I figure it wouldn't give gb justice.

alamDV is one frustraiting program. I tried using it for its saber rendering and the results were laughable. It looked like an effect that might come from a cheap wedding videographer, but goodluck.

I would use something less complicated!

Before you worry about this though, have you written a script? Just wondering.
