Hi there, just tryin to spred the word about my ebay auction, might not be of any interest to you, but you never know. Basicly im having a big clear out from my loft and have been lucky enough to have found all my old ghostbusters toys. Im reluctuntly selling them ( i need to make some space) anyway, im selling a few items, but my best find is this…

1984 GHOSTBUSTERS PROTON PACK that has everyting that came with it when i purchased it as a kid.

“It has, the Proton Pack, Particle Thrower, Ecto Goggles and Scanner. It also has an arm band, just to let everyone know, your a ghostbuster. These items all connect to the pack which has the original straps. The item was from my childhood and has survived all these years in my loft. The item is in great condition and has the original stickers on it. The Particle thrower has a small trigger that still sound the ”shooting sound“”

By the way, does anyone else on here think the Nutrona Wand packaged with the pack sounds exactly like the TARDIS when you pull the trigger?

Hmm…must be just mine, then. The sound thingy in the guns were all made differently, with each one giving a different quality of sound.

I remember my trigger breaking fairly easily and my parents taking the gun apart on the kitchen table to fix it. After about three times, I was simply told that it couldn't be fixed. But that didn't really matter to me because my noise was more accurate. Plus, in the show they used the button on top, not a trigger on the bottom. Even at age 5 I was all about the accuracy.

Good luck with the auction! It's considered as a collector's item now so you should get a good price on it. Probably more than you thought you will get.
