I am getting married over the summer, and I am in charge of the cake topper and I get to make a custom one for my fiance and I, so here it is.
I need a small toy proton pack to make my custom ghostbusters groom topper, I dont want to pay to much since I gotta pay for the wedding and support the kids at the same time, if anyone out there is willing to part with a small toy proton pack let me know, I dont want to wait for one to pop up on ebay and pay an arm and a leg for something so small.

Can I ask what exactly you mean by a small toy proton pack? Could you not use 1 of the proton packs that comes with either the 6“ or 12” GB figure line? Or is this what you meant?

Somthing around the 6 inch line is most likley what i am gonna need, i was thinking about the ones from the real ghostbusters line from kenner but they are gonna be to small, and Congratulations to you too, does your fiance understand your ghostbusters fetish? mine loves mine and she is the one that came up with the idea for the groom topper to be a custom ghostbuster and we are gonna have the logo on the cake as well

I dont have any of the new matty figures or i would be all over it and of course everytime I try to get one at the last minute i am out bid or they are all sold out so if it wasnt for bad luck i would have no luck at all

I'm getting married Summer 2011 too! June 18 for me!

August 13th here, this will be my second wife, my first one hated my ghostbusters obsession, but the great and wonderful women i have now tries to get me any ghostbusters thing she can and thats why she is letting me have the topper duty and do what i want with it

My Fiancee is supportive of my love of Ghostbusters and often buys me things and watches the DVDs with me but I don't think she'd be cool with me bringing it into the wedding, haha! I asked if I could turn up in the Ecto-1 but didn't get very far with that one :-( It's great that your Fiance suggested that GB570! You'll have to post a snap of the cake on the forum for us to see!

The reason I was curious on the requirement was I was wondering if a Weenicon pack might be of any use? They are no where near as detailed as those in the figure line, but might be a good size. How big are wedding toppers normally? The Weenicons are 3" ish.

I think a 6" matty pack would be the ideal solution though. I'll keep an eye out for anything that comes up at a decent price. What is your rough price range, a few $'s?

Nothing Ghostbusters for me, but I'm a die-hard Philadelphia Flyers fan, and I was allowed to have orange be one of our wedding colors. I'll be wearing a black tux with an orange vest and orange tie.

I think cake toppers are like 6 inches. I am watching some one ebay right now in hopes that i could win something.

I have a suggestion, at Toys R Us, they have the Ghostbusters 2 giftset with all 4 of the 6 inch guys, the set is $50, but you could buy it, and then sell the figures that you don't need.

I'm sure there are some people on here that would be interested in some of the single figures, hell I'd be interested in the Ray figure from it if you go that route.

Just a suggestion though.
