Whadaya think? I'll be gone for a week so I won't be able to work on it. Critiques? Comments?

It's looking pretty good so far, only suggestion I have would be to add shadow to Winston, Peter and Ray so they're got directional lighting like Egon.

Yea. What kingpin said, plus the RGB title and logo.

Thanks guys – I'll be shading everyone. It is a work in progress after all. I wanted to make sure the faces didn't look weird or were colored wrong or anything.
I am currently in NYC and went by the Firehouse yesterday – not only was it awesome, but the guy opened the door for me and let me snap a picture of the inside. I'll be sure to post the pictures once I'm home!

I have two ideas…
1) Use a background other than black so that Winston's hair doesn't have to have a white outline around it. Or make the outline a dark gray. The white outline is too obvious and distracting.
2) Ray's face looks a little old to me. Maybe shorten some of the wrinkles, or erase some of the ones on his forehead? I think the one that most does it is the long curved one by his mouth. It just looks like he's older than the rest of them.

If you're doing it in Photoshop, you should play around with the layer properties to try and come out with something interesting to put around them, like a glow or a nice, thick outline (watch out though… don't want it to look like a Colorform sticker).

I think this is great! In addition to an RGB logo (which has already been brought up by others), it would be nice if you could also throw in your own rendering of the Fright Features logo. Click the link below for an example.
Chad – funny you should mention that. I scanned in my Fright Feature Peter Venkman package so I can trace the logo in Illustrator. I think I'm gonna throw that logo in the corner, and either the cartoon “The Real Ghostbusters” logo (with “The Real” in a script typeface) or the toy “The REAL Ghostbusters” (the no-ghost logo with the ghosts surrounding it).
On an unrelated topic, I am still in NYC not having any luck finding vintage toy joints. Is there anyone reading this who is familiar with New York and might be able to point me to someplace cool…?

A while back I traced over the ‘The Real’ bit from the cartoon intro in Illustrator for when I did the RGB 20th Anniversary strip, if you like I can dig that out and send it to you.
