I am on the fence about this one. I have nothing against Ford, he is a phenomenal actor, but at his age I am wondering how well it will be. I hope it does very good.

Don't worry, Sandman. I'm sure he isn't too old to play Indy.
Remember the scene in ‘Raiders’ where he simply shoots the swordsman to avoid a tiring battle? Something typically Indy, right?
Well, he could still pull off a stunt like that when he'll be 80

How about another pic? This time of the Danish plastic version…

It's funny that Ford ad-libbed that, he wasn't feeling well at the time and so just did that.

I'd hope that was real… Lego could stand to do some more licenced sets.

But for reasonable prices.

He did indeed. It proves that Ford added an awful lot to his character and that it wouldn't be imaginable that another actor would don the Fedora. It just wouldn't be Indy.

It's real alright!
The rumor of LEGO planning to make Indy sets spread over the Net after some guy overheard someone from Lucasfilm talk about the project.
Last week, the news was confirmed.
The first four playsets will be released next january, at very reasonable prices:

- Temple Escape, $49.99 (Raiders)
- Race for the Stolen Treasure, $29.99 (Raiders)
- Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb, $19.99 (Raiders)
- Motorcycle Chase, $9.99 (Last Crusade)

In june of 2008, more sets will follow based on the new movie.

Good news, innit?

That is good news. The ‘Adventurers’ line (or whatever it's called) was effectively an Indiana Jones range… just not with any specific details.

Agreed.
The Adventurers line, running from 1998 to 2003, was hugely inspired on Indiana Jones. They just gave him a moustache, changed his name to
'Johnny Thunder' and gave him a different hat.
It had some pretty cool sets though…

Anyway, we finally get the real thing now

I'm still really really disappointed that Sean Connery isn't coming back for this movie. I mean I'm sure it'll be cool, Harrison Ford is one of my favorite actors, but man, I was looking forward to some Connery action as well. He said he wanted to do the movie badly, but prefers “retirement”. I think thats incredibly lame of him, plus; what better way to end an acting career than with ‘Indiana Jones’??? Oh well, I still eagerly await the film….

I agree, I heard about him being in a interview with harrison ford. It was said he would be in it. I was looking forward also in seeing sean connery as well. I really enjoyed the Last crusade. I am really excited about the new indy movie. Harrison is looking good, and still cute. I'm told that this will be a big reunion. I can't wait for it to come out. Big Indy fan!!
