Those glasses don't look like they were sticking to the movie. The pulled back hair look just isn't working. IMHO

88 MPH can't have the liknesses to close to the actors, what can't people understand? They won't look like the RGBs, or the Film GBs because they don't want to pay royalties over using the name and idea of Ghostbusters.

Besides, I like the new look.

Were the rights to the likenesses not for sale ever? Or are they just too costly? I was too young to recognize the differences between RGB and the movies at the time. I didn't care, I didn't know about the issues over likeness rights until much more recently.

One question. Why does Egon look like someone from “The Revenge of the Nerds.” Harold Ramis didn't look like that! I wish they had stuck with the RGB look.

Did you even read page 1? :p I've already said this once. They couldn't give Egon's Glasses thinner frames for legal reasons. So in other words, if they did, he'd look exactly like a younger version of Harold Ramis, and he could sue them for using his Likeness without his permission/paying a royalty to him (Plus, that would lessen our chances of a GB III even more than they are now.).

Also, this new Comic will be strictly based on the original Movie all the way down to the smallest details (Smallest details: Meaning that Ray will be in charge of the ECTO-1, instead of Winston, that they're primarily Scientists gone into business for themselves, and not the other way around, and that Slimer won't be their pet.). No RGB Likenesses, and thank goodness, no RGB/Movie Actor Crossbreads. All of the Ghostbusters will exactly resemble Murray, Aykroyd, Ramis, Hudson, Potts, Weaver, Moranis, and Atherton from the neck down. The only true difference that remains is their faces. Of course, some elements from RGB will be brought in, such as gizmos, gadgets, techo-babble, and background info.

Yeah, when I saw their drawing of Egon, my initial reaction was, “What the hell?! Who is that imposter, and what has he done with Egon?!”

LMAO. Exactly my thoughts. Although I thought “Revenge of the Nerds” meets Ghostbusters! :-)
