Is 360 patch a hint about Kinect support?

People are speculating online. I started wondering about it when I put 2 and 2 together after looking at the Terminal Reality Facebook page yesterday when they announced the pack but people were arriving at the same conclusion in the Joystiq comments today as well. The evidence:

1: Terminal Reality is one of the first Kinect developers and is behind the Star Wars Kinect game.

2: TR said that the patch will launch in the fall launch of an Xbox Live update. Game patches come when they're ready and pass certification, there's no reason to hold them to tie into larger service upgrades unless they actually have something to do with said upgrades.

3: Addressing the glitches with a patch out of the blue like 15+ months later is a total head-scratcher but taking care of the glitches as part of a larger project actually makes a lot of sense.

I really don't understand the significance of #1.
