Is it possible to make a working slime blower?

it really depends on what your using for slime…

for instance… you can buy a fire extinguisher that you fill with water, screw the cap on, hook up an air compressor too it, and then it will shoot water 20+ feet. you could buy two of those for the tanks on the side and have a dummy tank in the middle.

but how well would that work with a thicker substance?

Really you could cause just about anything to propel with compressed air, its just a matter of finding the proper equipment of doing it.

For instance if you wanted to use a thicker substance like your easy cheese… then the fire extinguishers more then likeley wouldnt work… the lines are designed for a substance with similar properties to water.

So really you could custom build a whole system to blow a substance but it would be much more practicle for it to shoot a pink colored water (aka pink lemonade)

and then thier is the issue of making all of this look like the slime blower in the movie…

it could be done, but you will be spending a lot of money to make it function and look like the model in the movie…

DEAR GOD MAN!! YOU MUST BE SICK TO SHOOT YOUR FELLOW GHOSTBUSTERS WITH COMPRESSED CHEESE!! NEVER WILL I ASK YOU FOR A PARTNERSHIP!! smile wink

I am well aware that you can shoot anything with compressed air but what I'm saying is do you plan on filling the tank up to full capacity and using all the “slime” in one night? We're talking about taking care of the tank, not like its corrosive or anything just biodegradable. smile And yes you could compress the air yourself if you knew what you are doing, it can save money smile

If ya wanna do it the easy way for a movie or such do what I do. Get a couple of pink slilly string cans rig them up to the gun and boom there you go! Thats the only way I acn think of it all the compress air is confusing.

Let me just say for the record that if you're going to go through with this you might want to get someone who knows what they're doing wink

Secondly, The silly string isnt compressed air; Its aerosal and you dont want to be using that nasty stuff.
