Though it is true that there is a delay it really is inconsequential seeing as how you can just import the North American version.
Not really “inconsequential”, because if you think about it from an economic perspective, when the 360 version is finally released, A LOT of European stores (especially game stores) are going to lose A LOT money, which in turn is going to hurt their employees/local economies, now I'm not trying to say anything bad about the people who will in fact order from an North American source (cause' I would probably do the same thing). Hopefully, most of the EU stores will anticipate this and, decide not to order too many copies of the game…just in case.(*peter)

i probably will cancel my order, there goes £35 *sigh*

What type of store did you order from that won't refund your money if you cancel a pre-order?

I somehow doubt that the importing of the North American Xbox 360 version of Ghostbusters is going to affect European game retailers that much. Were this Grand Theft Auto IV, perhaps, but there are so many other games out there that the economic effect will be marginal.

Not to get too off-topic, but it's almost like what's happening here (in NA) with the auto industry. People are buying more imports than anything else, and therefore dealerships are loseing money, now, I'm not trying to compare the cost of a VG to the cost of a car, but the principle is still there. So the same thing could happen, maybe not necessarily to a great extent (causing a EU econimic crisis), but it would still have, some sort of impact, no matter how small.

I feel for the Europeans but I think many should just import the North American versions and stick it to Sony. Maybe it will send them a message. Just because you love Ghostbusters in Europe shouldn't mean you should suffer. Heck fellow ghostheads here can buy it, and then Europeans can pay via paypal and then ship it to them.
