Ok, definitely no. They've already got a whole line of TV remakes into movies lined up. Hollywood is running out of ideas, if all they do is reuse old ones over and over. They're already planning to remake Nightmare on Elm Street which is planned to start filming sometime next month. They haven't even announced a cast yet.

What are some of you people gonna do when they make a “GB3” Slamm them too!??
I cant waite for the new 3 stooges movie, I think they have a hell of a line up for the cast
Some of you guys are terrible what your saying about them, give those 3 a chance they might do good with it, I dont see how not with Jim Carey in the line up

GB3 by chance will have the original people in it.
This three stooges movie won't have the original Howard brothers and Finn in it. That is the difference.
The problem is is that recently no matter what the content is, Hollywood always manages to fuck things up in term of turning it into a movie.
Most of us here love the three stooages and we don;t want them to be ruined. Max Payne was an awesome game, but they ruined it with the live action movie. Sure you have some studios that are awesome like WETA, but they are so few that most of the time most of the movies made are crapfests.
I mean about 90% of the movies made today make Ghostbusters 2 look like a masterpiece even though some think that movie sucked.

Right..
I dont know about the other 2 guys Sean Penn and the other guy but Jim Carey cant hurt it, he's a supperior goofball and I loved Carey since i was a kid
I dont see how Penn would make a good character with that movie but I guess we'll see

Ghostbusters 3 is a different case, because that would be a sequel, with the possibility of the same cast. This film is pretty much a “reboot”, with a different cast of actors. I might watch it because of Jim Carey, but that's really about it.

I haven't really watched a lot of the Three Stooges, but even I think this is a bad idea. Hell, they're going to remake The A-Team into a movie, and I'm a fan of that and I already have the urge to think they're going to mess it up.
Ghostbusters 2 was a decent sequel, compared to most today, and most they had back then even. If it was a Bio-film about them, it wouldn't be so bad, but the whole thing feels like another “Little Rascials” movie. Sad part is, we'll most likely end up watching it. Like I'll end up watching the bad looking Dragon Ball (Evolution) movie.
