(1) she shouldnt LOVE her job, or even necessarily like it all that much. she was over worked under payed in the first film, so y not the comic book? and it could lead to some great comedic dialouges and one liners like “Ive quit better jobs than this” and “someone with your qualifications would have no trouble finding a top flight job in either the food service or house keeping industries”
(2)which brings me to my next point. while venkman and janine dont dislike eachother, most of their dialogue in GBI consisted of Peter pickign on her. I loved that. I think it should stay. Peter always apologized tho b/c he wasnt trying to be mean, thats just his nature. That too could lead to some interesting stories…like janine quits b/c she cant take venkamns jokes anymore, then pete has to do all the secretarial work? lol
(3) Janine and Egon! she was hot for him in GBI, part of RGB AND REALLY hott for him in XGB (although that was more of a “my biological clock is ticking thing”) I think they should play with that relationship alot. And Egon is a science nerd, and that will always be his first love, but he isnt dead-he's gotta know she wants him, and he prolly would be interested in her too. let them date or something for a while-that would be funny-egon on a date-lol. maybe they break up and thats y janine hooks up with louis in GBII? endless possibilities
Thats just my thought.
