I'm pretty sure it can have a very detailed create a ghostbuster as Smackdown vs. Raw has a detailed create a wrestler. I don't think it will take up much space. I hope they also have future updates and patchesm or at least continue the franchise and have more games on the way. (*egon)

I very much doubt you'll be able to create your own character.

Exactly, The Sims 2, Neverwinter Nights, Hellgate London and Phantasy Star Online all managed to have character customisation without serious disk space usage.

Oh, I didn't know it was not heavy. Looking at “smackdown vs raw” custom character option, I thought that it took a lot of space.

I said that because I made a subject in the past, and someone said that my concept was a bit heavy to fit on one disk. Now that the game is on the making, I don't want to miss anything that is possible.

Don't look at Smackdown vs. Raw for anything, we want THQ/Yukes to stay as far away from Ghostbusters as possible, otherwise, it might wind up as half-assed as the SDvsR series is.

And as for the above poster, why do you say that? I bet at the the least you'd be able to edit how the face looks and such.

Why else?

To stir the pot and say “Number one”

Uh, I think that character customization could fit on one disk, I don't think that they'd make something that uses to many disk.

Character customization for The Godfather game fits on one DVD disc, and that's for PC. Even if you don't want to create your own, they always start out with a “default” character design anyway so you can just use that if you're not up to making your own.

Right now though, it's too early to tell if they'll have one or not. Here's hoping they will (*peter) (*ray) (*winston) (*janine) (*egon)

Yeah, and besides, its not like we'd be making different sort of clothes or anything either, it'd just be focused on the face. Since I'm sure that we'll be wearing the GB jumpsuit, I think all that they'd need to focus on is the face.

If they focus only on the face, I don't see the need to do a “custom character” program.

They can do nice things with picture in games today. I bet they will allow the player to load his picture to paste it on the recruit's face.

I doubt that

I seen what they did with T.H.U.G. The faces where always off and looked like they took the face smashed it with a hammer. Besides if the face can be customized as much the one in oblivion you can make it look just like you.

The end result would be horrible, I'm sure. It'd be applied to a 3D structure that doesn't match the player's skull structure, and the texture would be obviously different in lighting and appearance compared to the rest of the game environment.

A face modifier program built into the game is the best way to go if you ask me if they haven't already included it.
