June 17th, what are your plans?

Just curious if anyone has done what I did. Knowing June 16th would be a huge day for my Ghostbusters nostalgia I took June 17th off from work because a single night of GB: The Video Game playing wouldn't be enough. HAHA. Am I alone? :-)

Friday 19th and Mon 22nd booked off for UK fun.

My manager is still amused by this.

monday going to midnight release and then all day tuesday playing the game.

And a little in the morning on wed.

Since my GameStop says they probably won't have it in store until the 17th, I took the 17th off to play all day. Here's hoping I can maybe get it late on the 16th and stay up all night, but worst case scenario, I'll watch the Blu-Ray that night and play the game all day on the 17th.

Our Gamestop is telling the wife and I the game is available for pickup on the 16th. So next Tuesday the kids are probably going to have to beat us with chairs to get us off the PC's. LOL.

Verdic, haha! That made my day! My girlfriend does not understand the hype about this game. So, she'd be upset if I told her the real reason I took off June 17th considering she took it off too.

So she's just gonna be upset anyway? LOL, why not tell her so she doesn't take the day off thinking she's spending time with you, only to find out you're gonna be wrapped up in Ghostbusters goodness all day.

already done. thankfully she is a fellow gamer and understands my enthusiasm. as much as i'd love to spend the entire day playing the game i'll need to take a break to pee and eat. (*peter)

my gf doesn't understand my obsession with Ghostbusters either, but she accepts it. She knows I'll be spending a lot of my off-time next week playing the game.
