Is anyone here a fan of the Jurassic Park Trilogy? I am, next to GB this is one of my favorite movie series'. I'm getting the upcoming DVD Boxed Set this Christmas (it has all three films plus a bonus disc with a lot of supplements), you can get it at http://www.walmart.com for a good price.

the first one rocked, the second was okay, the third, well…. can't say much for it. i loved the book, though. i haven't read the lost world book. did it have the same ending as the movie?

I haven't read the novels yet, though I heard they were way better than the movies.

I liked all three films. The first was the best, the second OK, the third was pretty good (though I hated that the Tyrannosaurus had such a small part, he should've had at least four scenes).

The JP trilogy rocked…
I've always been a big fan of it.

I really liked the third movie, nobody seems to like it, but I think it was much better then the second one.

The Lost World book (I may be a little off - I read it back in 1997 I think) didn't have the whole T-Rex rampage in the US thing. It was quite different from the movie as far as I can remember, although the basic idea was the same.

Number 2 all the way! Best part is when they rip Eddie in half and both take one.

Number 3 made me fall asleep. Really! I feel asleep and then woke up when I heard a loud noise. Really pathetic. They had marines for god-sakes and they never used them! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING! Not to mention the body-count was lower than ever. It hardly even made sense either. Blood on a wind-shield a plane accident makes not.

Yes, The Lost World novel had none of the T-Rex in San Diego thing.
I am a big fan of the trilogy! The first is great…my 5th favorite movie! The second was okay, and the third, well, it was lame, although I still want it on DVD.
The books were much better than the movies, though. Michael Crichton is a true genius!
