I really do think that for the people who really took an interest in the original films GB III would be completly worth it. Even if its not the coolest thing for kids anymore, GB is a cult classic and should be respected for that…. Bring on the film (and if not, im quite prepared to make one myself)

Um, my kid is 5 and he absolutely loves all the Real Ghostbusters cartoons (although he still is scared by the movies), so GB would translate to younger viewers.

The thing killing it dead is Bill Murray who told Dan Akroyd he wants no part of the next movie.

Unless that changes I don't see how this movie will ever be made.

Puh-lease! Do you still doubt GB3 will be made? Have faith, Ghostheads, after “Freddie vs Jason” I think we shouldn't even be discussing this. Those guys from Sony may be a little slow, but nobody can be THAT stupid! As for Mr Murray, well, may I remind you when Anthony Hopkins said he wouldn't play Hannibal Lecter anymore? Har har. Sure. So don't trust actors. Don't trust producers. Just trust your feelings, and I think GB3 must be, WILL be done cause it feels too damn right. I'm from Barcelona, and even there, Ghostbusters became quite a social phenomena. People remember them just the same (well, not the same cause the movies were dubbed… er… nevermind). See? This is worldwide! We are not alone!
