And we were talking about the new Ghostbusters comic, and he said that he thinks it'll probably be a success.

He was saying how most of the 80's revival stuff have been pretty big sellers, at least at his store.

But then he said he also heard about a new cartoon series that was in the works.

He didn't know anything else about it though.

So it could be, and most likely is, not true, but I thought I'd share.

i heard the same thing at my local shop, but im not getting my hopes up yet….

You guys are lucky, the people at my comic shop say they only heard rumors about the new comics so I cant really count on them for updates.

Yeah the guy at my comic store just told me that he is already getting people wanting to order it he said i was the third one!!!Then i talked to another comic dealer and he said that the book will be out on the shelves in two months that was over 2 weeks ago!!!
so there is something in the works…
also look at the statistics of 80's revival comics:
(1)Transformers—–new television series.
(2)He-man———–new television series
(3)Teenage Mutant N. Turtles—–new television series
(4) i have heard rumors of a new thundercats series also!!!!
(80's revival is extremely big right now with kids of all ages***because you take the older fans and the new ones and it scores big***)
what better revival than He-man is there and the answer is ghostbusters!!! I mean it is number 36 on the top cartoons of ALL TIME!!!(read recent reports)
and number 5 or 4(cant remember) ON THE TOP 80's SHOWS

I'm going to go out on a limb today and ask the comic guy that works in the bookstore in my local mall to see if he's heard anything else about it, or can look into requesting it.. Or even in the worst case scenario, ordering an issue or two for me monthly once it comes out. I'll keep you guys posted.

Well, I've already asked it in three comic book shops in Glasgow, and they all start staring at me with bug-eyes. They all never heard of it, but they all say that there are 80s' revivals, which didn't really satisfy me, so to make myself happy I bought a Polar Lights Ecto-1 model today hip hip hurrah. and THAT'S the ONLY BLEEDIN' GB-thing they had in stock. Ohooohoo, in a couple of months they're gonna be beggin' they're gonna be CRAVING for more :-)

There is no doubt that a comic is on the way from 88mph studios due out soon, I was just checking my comic book store for any new info and to hear their opinion about the new comics.
