Sony still owns Gb's and will for the rest of are lives and i have proff that Universal nor Paramount has bought the rights to Gb's. When i saw Ecto1a at Universal it had a plaque that said “On loan from Sony Pictures” also Universal is lesaing the car and the name Gb's which means they pay money to sony to use the name. Now Paramount did not buy the name b/c it would have been big news in Hollywood trust me about this its not everyday a big franshice swithces companys.

Umm, ok. That doesnt mean Paramount/Dreamworks isnt making another move. Just like they have the rights to display the Ecto, they could have gotten the rights to make another movie. It would be a smart move for Sony as Paramount would make it with their budget and pay Sony also. It works the same way. I dont think anyone ever said that Paramount bought the whole franchise. Just the right to make a GB3. Which is possible. It happens all the time. It works the same way as them borrowing the Ecto. Pretty much. Just thought Id let you know this. That just because Paramount didnt buy the whole franchise (which no one said they did in the first place), that they could still very well have the rights from Sony to make a GB3. Since Sony didnt want to due mainly because of the huge budget it had to have. All Paramount had to do was get the right from Sony to make a GB3. Plus, that would make Sony more money in the long run. You should have thought about this before posting.

Look its not everyday a film company buys movies rights let aloan barrow them, all im saying is that Sony still owns 100% of Gb's. Also lets say another film company wants to make GB3 wil besides going thou Sony u gotta go thou the actors and crew. You really also have to ask Dan and Harold b/c they created the characters. I really dont think also Sony would give the rights away anytime soon.

! Paramount/Dreamworks have produced some of the best effects in Hollywood. Remember Deep Impact, Antz, Shrek, Minority Report, The Time Machine, Artifictial Intelligence, Evolution, and tons more. I wouldnt say they make crappy special effects. Those are very high budget films made by Paramount/Dreamworks.
