I thought Reynolds was great as Hal, his performance IMO made the movie. I'm kinda bummed the movie isn't doing so well at the box office, I hope it improves. I'd very much like a sequel or two.

“This Film Is Not Yet Rated” - A Fabulously well done documentary about the MPAA and how much of a bullshit organization it is.

As Far as Green Lantern, I am sure they will at least try another sequel to see if they can get a franchise going. If a sequel does just as bad that will be the final nail in the coffin….

…unless they decide to reboot it.

First Blood
Rambo: First Blood Part II
Rambo III
Rambo IV (Theatrical Cut)

Watched all of them over the past day or so. Love the entire Rambo saga, have a hard time picking a favorite or least favorite out of any of them.

On the subject of The Green Lantern, the movie hasn't exactly been a bomb despite it's underwhelming performance. I hope a sequel would be much more successful.

I love First Blood but the sequels are junk, imo. In First Blood he's a down-on-his-luck veteran that's pushed to the edge. In the sequels they turned him into some kind of invincible monster that just goes around screaming one liners while killing. They just threw away the great story of the original and replaced it with “shirtless man make bombs go boom”.

Did you see the fourth movie? The fourth one harkens back a lot to the original in terms of the tone. I find 1 and 4 are emotional and serious Action films, while 2 and 3 are fun comic book adventures.

I last watched the Director's Cut of Natural Born Killers. One of my all-time favorite movies, and one that sadly remains misunderstood even all these years after it's release.

Yeah, I've seen it. A bloated gore fest with no substance.

To each their own but I thought the fourth one was great. It might be my favorite but as I said, I have a hard time picking a favorite or least favorite Rambo film.

I will say though that the first one is indeed incredibly different from all of it's sequels. It's even kinda hard to believe the sequels are as different as they are, with the first movie being an Action-Drama while 2 and 3 are typical '80s Action films and the fourth is like a documentary-style war movie.

Finally saw Green Lantern over the weekend with my Girlfriend. I thought the movie was ok. I have to agree with the assessment you guys gave it…the reviews for it have been harsher than they should have been. It was enjoyable…but, knowing the back story a little kinda ruins my enjoyment a little.

My only real problem with it was a nitpicky thing involving the treatment of Parrallax though. He had more in common with my favorite GL villain Krona than the actually entity Parrallax.

All in all, it wasn’t that bad though it could have been better…but also worse
