House of Wax… well, the first 45 minutes of it. I think I'm too old for that stuff. The first victim (the piano guy)… to have a stupid friend like he has, poor him: Come on, you don't try to take more skins off, after you discover the hell you're doing! Stupid.
That scene was enough. Maybe I was too tired. When the girl was tied to the chair, with glue on the lips (an old fantasy some teenagers like to think about, to scare themselves), the finger cut; I felt nausea.
Yeah, too old. I thought: why do we do such violence on tv, when we try to send a good message to society. Don't take me wrong, I was a big Freddy Krugger movie fan. But watching the girl screaming while that guy was tying her, I felt the need to say to myself: they are actors, it's only a game and it's just for fun. That's why horror movies are fun. But the image of violence hits me harder than in the past.
It's a good and sad thing at the same time. Good because it means: less stress, a better way of thinking. The sad thing is: am I getting fragile or what (*winston)
The joke is: See no Evil is in theater and I want to see it :p
House of wax has a great concept, in spite of Paris Hilton (ehh, is it her?).
