Assassin's Creed is a good game but I agree with you. That was one of my pet peeves about it. The other thing I didn't really like was the repetitive gameplay. It always seemed like all I did was unlock/move to a new area, find all the little eagle eye/dive spots, then just go around and do a couple missions that all seemed the same, go back and forth sometimes forever to those safehouse/informant place so he can tell you your assassination target that you already know just to get permission which is retarded, kill the target, run/fight gaurds, hide. Thats all the game was, doing that over and over and over again, till it drove me crazy and dizzy.
Banjo was a great game for 64. I remember it was such a big game you had to have that expansion pack for the system. I don't remember too much about it, just that it was fun. I just bought a new nintendo 64 a few months back. I think I'll go to the store and buy it, since I don't remember much it will be nice.
That's really the only bad thing about replaying old favorites from the past. You enjoy them so much that you remember all the details. Then when you go to play it again, there's not the same surprise and exploration enjoyment that you had the first run through.
Ohh that store I go to is great! It's seriously one of the best game stores actually the best that I've actually been to. They sell anything and everything. They buy/sell, used/new old systems, such as: Atari, Intellivision, NES, SNES, 64, Gamecube, the different Sega Genesis they even sell those Jap. rip off systems of NES. They're not the actual NES, but they cheaper than the originals, and they have AV jacks, and play the original cartridges. If you buy old systems used (they have some old systems new but are very expensive) they go through and replace all the parts they can, like the 72-pin connector, so you don't have to blow in the systems, or the cartridges everytime you wanna play a game.
They even sell all the games for all the systems, as well as name brand and generic accessories and controllers. I love this store, and everything is so cheap. They're pricing works on the rarity, demand, their costs(replaced console parts in refurbished systems), and how much they have in stock. Average pricing goes kinda like this: NES:$2-7 SNES/64: $4-17. Those are just a couple examples. I got the both ninja gaiden and super mario trilogys for NES for 18 bucks last time I was there.
They don't have a website unfortunatly, however I posted this for people who live in Indiana. If you live here in Indiana send me a message, and I'll let you know the name and location even directions if you aren't familiar with the area(online maps don't give correct address)
Sorry for going on about all this, I'm a little bored and I got all excited thinking about going and getting Banjo now, lol.
