Bang bang.

Okay, you can find 88MPH's run at Graham Crackers, on Ebay or you can order the TPB from Amazon UK. It's a mini series that takes place 6 months after th' first movie (under th' guise that th' movie's events took place in 2003 instead of 1983) and was supposed to lead into a regular series. Unfortunately, publishing problems have caused that to be nixed. Currently, 88's last book is a Hardcover collected edition of the mini with a foreword by Dan Aykroyd and equipment schematics. However, that's also extremely late.

has the hardcover even been released yet, or is it still delayed, because graham cracker has it on pre-order.

They've had it on pre-order for a while.

Titan released a soft cover version of the book (Which also omitted the beautiful cover artwork, the concept gallery and the foreward by Dan Aykroyd) in the UK… but excluding that the full book hasn't yet been released, hence the pre orders.

Does anyone have a pic of the titan book version or a link on where to buy it? If so could you please post.

Also, i just bought a few christmas gifts from echelon (the company who uses the board) using the old coupon code. It still works and their service was pretty good I must say, in case anyone else was waiting for a new update freom them.

A frankly uninspired cover design…

So, green goo on the DVD sucks and they should have gone with the classic - but the classic on the book is uninspired - it's tough to find the middle ground.

I will say though, given everything has to run through the Sony approval gauntlet, it certainly makes sense to just use the black and logo.

Well, my thinking is that the ‘black classic’ is fine for the DVD because that was it's poster… however for the comic, the Titan book was disappointing in contrast to the cover drawn for the 88MPH book.

Now of course, they likely didn't want to pay for the pencil work… but they could've used one of the comic covers… or a collage of art to serve as the cover.

There are some things the poster will work with…

One of the covers was the stand-in, in the Diamond Previews.

However, there are a couple of reasons why it didn't fly - as mentioned, there's the approval process. And use of the cover may have required additional payment (the same problem would apply to generating a new cover.)

It's not pretty, but it works.

Less is more. All ya really need is the logo.
