I just pulled this off of the site “Comming Attractions”, and it came from Dan's lips 2, thats TWO years ago:

It's a shame too because everyone wants to do it. Even Bill Murray said he would work a few days on it. I did finish a script. Harold Ramis liked parts of it. Ivan Reitman liked parts of it too. There's definitely an interest from all of the original parties invovled to make it. But the studio just doesn't want to take the risk. My personal opinion is when you look at the success of the other two..well, there would be plenty of money to go around for everyone. So unfortunately, it looks like its just not going to happen based on the studio's feelings, not from anyone else.”

Well, I guess thats proof that Bill did want to do it, so its the studios fault. BUT, it was exactly 2, thats TWO years ago that “ghostbusters3.com” went up.

Oy… if we keep digging up the older news somebody's going to start talking about a rumored “Super Ghostbusters” cartoon series.

The last and final piece of news I saw which was very recent said it was Bill Murray's fault. It said “there's a reason Bill won't do it. Someone once didn't agree with Bill, and now Bill doesn't agree with someone.” That's the one piece of news I'll stick to.

I heard about that agreeable thing, but I still stick to my belief that Bill Murray will absolutely NOT do GB3 is that he feels that it would be typecasting, that is, if you look at the work he did post-1989.

Man, I hate when I hear about him saying things like that, which I do quite often. He's done the ignorant wise cracking Venkman character so many times, I think of Peter Venkman every movie I see him in with the exception of a few. He acts like that in real life! And some of his upcoming projects are getting pretty lame, even though that has nothing to do with it. It's just…uggghhh…

You know, they are making MIB2. And in my opinion, there's a 80% chance of Ghostbusters 3.

The only reason I see Bill Murray's movies is because of Pete Venkman….. I heartbreaking when your favourite GB as he is mine won't do another
sequel….
