Legal Knife Carrying

Does anyone know if it legal to carry a Swiss Army knife on your pocession? Someone told me the legal blade length up to 3.5" long. I am getting one that has like a saw, blades, and other tools on it. Just wondering. (*peter)

I don't know what the national/state by state legislature is on swiss army knives… although they're definately different when compared to a switchblade. I suggest possibly looking at your local law enforcement site.

The only problem I've ever had with my Gerber (multitool) is at airports; it has to go in my checked bags.

I (along with half the theater tech department) almost got suspended from high school for carrying multitools, but the headmaster had some odd ideas about zero-tolerance…
