okay, so the name is settled. We our officially Ghostbusters:West Coast Division. Okay, before we set up the headquarters and such we need to figure out whether we will be government recognized or regular ghostbusters.
The government version we will be rather high in technology and it will have more of a government feel to it. For example, the headquarters will be gaurded by gaurds with low level proton guns and no proton packs. There will be laser eye scanning for the ecto-containment unit and access to that area.
The ghostbusters feel will be more of a normal hard-working ghostbuster franchise.
We have to decide this before everything else because this will be the foundation for all the other details.

regular gbs and then maybe somewhere down the line we can be offered a position with the gov…but until then regular working mans gbs

If that were the case, they would hire their own people who would go through months of training before they would go out on any jobs. The GBs went out before they even tested their equipment(if you remember). And no matter what, they couldn't or wouldn't destroy any property to catch the ghost. As regular GB's, we could destroy property and call it part of the job.

okay. I think if we put chadderbox and ray parker jrs ideas and put them together, that it might work. So if we were regular ghostbusters would we have like laser-eye scans for admittance to the containment unit and such or would the regular making items out of stuff around the house be good?

It all sounds good guys, but I was also wondering if there was going to be people to train the other members to use the proton packs, and the other gear.
And what other states should we investigate that in the Western part of the USA and what about scubba gear from underwater missions ?( just a thought .)

It depends upon what the group decides. If they want to go with the government feel then yes but it looks like were heading into the regular ghostbusters direction where the training of people wouldnt fit in with the story line. What do the rest of you guys think?

If we go with regular gb's, we won't have to fill out bust forms in triplicate. EDIT: I like Kyle's idea for scuba gear.

I like the idea of Regular GB's, I'm all out of ideas for the team, but if case of underwater missions we can use scubba gear, aswell.
