After posting at Weaver Hall this morning, in response to something Seb posted (which was not angry, sarcastic, or brimming with any negative emotion) Seb I presume deleted the topic along with another and started a new thread. This is what the locked thread reads:

All fundings goes toward publishing the book this fall. The book has been delayed enough and refunding people now is just postponing things further.

The bottom line is people will receive what that paid for and no more refunds are being issued.

I definitely don't agree with this. I understand that trying to deal with all the refunds delays the book further. I suggested to Seb before this thread that if he is trying to do it all, he should hire someone to help with the refunds or balance his time better.

For those of us who are still hanging in there, I want the hardcover soon as possible of course. Not just at the expense of fans who'd rather have a refund. A little more then 2 years have passed. If they weren't going to get what they order by now, they at least deserve to get a refund.

Had to get that off my chest since we don't have the right to express ourselves in the Literature section at WH.

This may sound a bit selfish of me but with the end in sight it seems, I want my damn book haha and I would hope everyone that bought one and hasn't gotten a refund would too. I guess I understand though at some point its like “hell with it” I'd want the money, but now that it seems we'll be getting it why not just go with it? Or when you get your book you can sell it. I'm sure theres someone out there that got a refund recently that might be kicking themselves & wouldn't mind having it now.

Anyway I can honestly say I'm for no more refunds but thats because I'm a selfish bastard who wants my book and doesn't want anything to prevent it further. haha (^_^) Whatever it takes to get it in my…errr our hands.. Sorry to everyone who wants a refund rather than the book, it is a bit crappy but ehhh..those are my feelings anyway…I hate to sound like that but I'm all for getting the book out and having the ordeal over with.

Plus I've only read the first issue and would REALLY like to read it. Hopefully looking past all the delays and lack of communication and lies etc, something will come of this. The book we all payed for and should have gotten. Mistakes were made and hopefully this isn't just smoke being blown you know where…

Same here… in the choice of getting a refund or the two books I ordered… I'd want to get the two books I ordered… it's hardly selfish and quite frankly seems to be the less (figuratively speaking) stressful result.

I mean, who'd fight the man to get a refund after they'd finally gotten their book? Who'd want that kinda hassle?

Same here. Who would want a refund now?? If you can wait over 2 years, you can surely wait another few months or so. Plus, this is a unique, and once-in-a-lifetime book. If you don't get it now, you probably never will…
