Wow, I wish that'd happen there, that'd be farking epic.

well, we beat it on the first night… we should have sold it to some fanboy. I'm sure we could have made a profit.

Of course though, I was playing Halo 2 before it was finished. It helps when you have friends at Microsoft.

i'd also be inclined to take the date on the website, if that says the 16th then it's released on the 16th, not that it gets shipped on the 16th.



maybe i dont understand what ur saying but the Gamestop website says it ships on the 16th…therefore it will be available on the 17th.

That's usually how most games work.

ship on Tues, get in on Wed.

I gotta see when our local GS is going to get them. We're supposed to be doing a midnight thing with them.

I understand how stores get some games/movies in early and specify on the box do not sell until a certain date. Why would they sell the game a day later if the release date is the 16th? the ship date obviously is not the 16th if your store is recieving it a week early and able to sell it to you.

No shit Sherlock, but I called the GameStop I usually buy from and they said it would be for sell on the 16th, when I said it usually is on sale the following day.

It sometimes does happen, I've reserved games I wanted only for them to come in a day later at that store. I don't understand it, but thats what happens.
