How would a store be able to sell the game a week early to you if you say that gamestop says it doesnt ship out until the 16?


I know someone who got INfamous a month early.

BTW, yes, if GS or EB says game X will be out on the 16th, sometimes that means it's the shipping date. They start selling it the next day. I know that has happened to me a few times in the past.

I understand how stores get some games/movies in early and specify on the box do not sell until a certain date. Why would they sell the game a day later if the release date is the 16th? the ship date obviously is not the 16th if your store is recieving it a week early and able to sell it to you.

And yeah, thats happened to me as well, hopefully that won't be the case with this particular game and it'll come out on the actual shipping date.

And I just called GameStop again, and the person on the phone said the game is Streetdated for the 16th, so it supposedly comes out then, yay a day earlier, the sooner I get it in my hands the sooner I don't have to worry about publishers and the game getting pushed back more.
