Went to my comic shop today to pick up issue #3, only to find it curiously missing from the shelves, so I went up to the clerk and asked if it came in today, and he said that it didn't. The interesting part is WHY it didn't, he went on to tell me that there has been some licensing issues with Mattel and that the comic wasn't going to be out for another two months!
(I assume 88mph is licensing the characters from mattel?) He told me that Mattel has been bringing back things like He-Man and Ghostbusters, ect… But due to poor sales of the He-Man comic and the new Ghostbusters toys, Mattel is on the assumption that EVRYTHING is failing.

What this could mean for our beloved series I don't know… Prehaps Sebastien could shed some light on this?

Has anyone else heard anything simmilar to this?

Yea your comic guy doesn't know anything. Mattel is not a rights owner of GB. And it definately came out today.

Didn't get to my store either. I'm holding out to see how many more people say they got it 'fore I order it OL to make sure I get my copy.

i got my copy too-no probs. And i hear that grahm crackers has sent out delivery comfirmation to the folks that ordered it there.

and why would mattel have GB rights? Kenner (Hasbro) made the figures.

It would seem that that comic guy's story isn't worth the yarn it's made from, seeing as how most people are reporting that they have it, the news is even up on GBHQ if further proof was needed.

I pre-ordered my copy of issue #3 along with #4 from grahamcrackers. Does anyone know when issue #4 will be out?, cause that's when I'll get #3 as well. (*peter)

Ok, so I just called almost every comic shop in the Twin Cities and nobody has gotten it in… Maybe it just hasn't been shipped out to Minnesota yet?

One place I called said it wouldn't be in for another two weeks, at least thats better then two months.

It's out in Muncie, Indiana… I can assure you that.
