I don't know much about electronics or circuitry, so I was wondering if you knew of any books, or even text books, that I could get to learn the basics so I can set up lights and sound into my proton pack.

I am interested in building my own proton pack, but I am doing a bunch of info gathering right now so that I will know what I am doing when the time comes.

Ok, so how heavy do you think a proton pack should be?

Because when I build it, I was thinking of doing Stefen's Plan where I build a wooden mold, and then Vacuum Form plastic over, thus making a plastic shell of the proton pack. I would then take that shell, and put all the lights and the sound speaker into it. I was then thinking of filling the back with foam and then putting the wooden motherboard back on it.
Then of course putting everything on the shell to finish it off. The only problem with this is, I am afraid it may be feel too light.
