M. Bison is no longer on the mod list and hasn't been for a while…

Ive said it before, ill say it one more time, I may be new at it, but I have yet to lock a topic. And it angers me to see that someone is accusing me of throwing around my power, in fact, ive acted like a regular member, only making sure to patrol the fic section, just to make sure no one is doing anything bad. I didnt lock the Thread locking post, I have no idea who it is that did. But please stop accusing us “Newbie Mods” of doing things that some of us arent doing. Just because we're new at it doesnt mean we automatically abuse the power. Its an honor to be picked as a mod, and I would never abuse the power. I would only lock something if it broke the rules layed down, not out of personal hatred for a member, or for no reason at all, and if I did/do lock something, i will make sure to give my reason for it, I myself have come online and found that certain posts were locked w/o reason, but not in my section, so i have no control over it, I would unlock them if I could. But the Thread Locking post was locked because it was getting out of hand among everyone that was posting there. Specially with the mention of cutting of heads, I mean, is that really appropriate? :p

I didnt say you Chris. But theyre are people who have been doing it. I cant always give specific examples because not all mods have been posting why they locked a thread. And this wanst about M. Bison because we all know hes bad. I actually dont want to point out names because then people think Im getting all mad. And shadoweaver your post was completely unwarranted. Sorry I dont tolerate rampant locking and crappy modding by people who joined the boards around 4 months ago or less

Actually, I believe you'll find that nobody joined THIS board any earlier than July of this year. You're basing it off of GBN, which is separate now…besides, I may not have been around since day 1, but I have been here and there for almost a year now, and I can't think of a single one of the mods, with the exception of the one that you said it's not about, that wasn't here before me. If there are some, I'd like to know who they are.

But then, I also thought that Shadow's post was absolutely warranted…so what do I know, right?

give some examples dane so we can address the problem, dont be like man these n00bie mods sure suck. thats not very constructive.

Also if posts are mysteriously deleted that is another reason why its hard to find examples. The post was about spam and it was locked, unlocked and then deleted. Evil toaser locked and unlocked it. Then there was teh who is god post which I admit seems like it could end up bad but 15 posts and no arguments. And it was locked. Sure that post could get out of hand but so could any post given the wrong comments.

I'm gonna go ahead and lock this post. I have given you the chance to list specific examples and you have failed to do so. I don't want this thread becoming a flame war.

Feel free to PM me or start a thread anytime you see a specific case of injustice and we will deal with it from there. Going on in a general sense does nobody any good and does not allow for any resolve.
