I noticed that there's a bunch of X's all over the place. What it the purpose of them???

they're for the inker, no since in wasting pencil on whats going to be flat black anyway.

I think they do that a lot in the animation industry.

Yep, they indicate areas that will be inked black, and is just standard procedure with pencillers when they do shades. Some just indicate everything that's should be black with x's, no matter how large the area is, but some only use it for very large areas. Saves both time and pencil. :p
I've seen instances where x's slipped by the inkers and made their way through to the finished product.

The Artist is well experianced An the penciles for the pages are lookin litterly Great, Im lookin forwards to pickin this comic up in the ol comic store hahaha!!!! I seen the preview for it when the Decmember preview book came out :-) lts lookin pretty amazin.
