What is a “reasonable” price for a Proton Pack in your book? How much are you willing to spend?

a good quality pack can easily run you $1,500 or higher. it all depends the route you want to take. if you arent concerned with lights sound or movie accuracy you can build one for as little as 10 dollars. it all depends on what you want

Also keep in mind you can build a pretty cool looking one thats not screen-accurate that'll hold you over whilst you save up some green. I love seeing what people come up with on their own.

very true, to give you an idea of waht you can do check out myspace.com/firstcoastghostbusters i built my slime blower with a budget of $250.00 it still needs things, isnt too accurate but it gets a great response. just excuse the pics where it is 5 1/2 feet long, i mis read the plans. but there are decent pics of the smaller one as well
