I will in no way sugar-coat this thing. Seb owes all of us an explanation, period. I'm not about to play nice, like everything's ok, that this has all been nothing more than a slight inconvenience; this has been the complete breakdown of a remarkable opportunity, and the continued robbery of money from those that put their faith in something significant, something truly great for the GB franchise. I myself wasted plenty of time defending the guy, only to see him here, three years after the fact, refusing to throw out word one on this invisible hardcover project.

Now your argument is with Sebastian and I understand that, and I'm not getting in your way providing you don't get nasty to him, which at the moment, you are frankly, not. So feel free to carry on, but New Recruit is just collateral damage. Please try to leave him out of this and just focus on Seb.

Maybe because I'm one of those people who bought the hardcover, I couldn't agree more. Not even regarding the money. Hell it's been so long I don't even remember, what was it $35? To casually stop by in an attempt to peddle your wares here after all this Hardcover History we've been through at this point, is really really sad. After Weaver Hall was removed, I figured Seb would never come around at all but to swing by and act like nothing has happened is just plain ridiculous.

I don't even know what the numbers are, how many people are owed a book, or money or the very least some sort of explanation. No more lies, no more “good news, it should be out in three weeks” if that's not the truth. The whole thing is causing people to be snappy at each other. I doubt there are very few people on any GB forum to defend you anymore.

As far as the way everyone talks to him, it's hard to find a way to get through to him at all it seems, asking politely didn't really work, demanding he tell us what's going on doesn't seem to work. As long as he's posting here, we might as well try to squeeze some sort of information out of him, regardless of how hopeless that seems to be.

That must take some kind of balls to show up after months of nothing nothing nothing, and just post like nothing's wrong.
(*egon) I wanted nothing more than when I ordered it those years ago to be able to read the new GB stories as I only was able to find the first issue. This was something that gave a lot of people hope and something new to look forward to. Before the video game announcement, that was the last big thing people tried to get behind and unfortunately, it failed bigtime. It let us down in a big way.

The whole situation is ridiculous and it does seem to a lot of people to be beating a dead horse but maybe just maybe we can get him to tell us what's going on. It sucks to see people getting mad at each other over this when all the hostility should be directed at Seb. He's the one who as Ricky Ricardo said “has some ‘splainin’ to do”

Things will remain perfectly subdued with Seb provided he gives us what we're owed. Good on you, Zack….you're absolutely right. These games are insulting, and they are wrong.

Why is that so difficult to understand?

I think at this point, we're not in any position to lose anything by being harsh to this guy. Doesn't look likely to gain anything either but unless he steps up as a man and a responsible adult and give us some truthful information we all have been deserving to hear for a few years now, we can only wonder. Seb, do you know how many people have wanted to take legal action against you? (*egon)

We don't know what we're dealing with as far as if he's still attempting to put things right or if he's given up and saying “oh well” It is a shame to see it come to us fighting each other. I don't think this is a situation to take lightly even though it has gone on so long, the whole thing is like a bad joke.. It seemed like an “oops” thing for awhile when in reality, it is a very serious matter of lying, hiding, broken promises and just terrible business. It sucks to feel helpless, betrayed and powerless to do anything we all believed in so much. Nothing changes we were all lied to…numerous times regarding release dates.

He's always beating around the bush and never telling us the truth. No telling if there even is any of our money anymore. He won't come clean. Remember the problem isn't with each other, it's with Sebastien and 88MPH studios. A property we all care dearly about was treated poorly and we as consumers and fans deserve something. At the very least some honesty and explanation.

I encourage everyone to be somewhat tactful in dealing with responses to him. No need to be excessively vulgar and rude but no one has done that so far. In the end, we are still owed something, until everyone gets either a book in the mail or a check. At the very least, communicate with us. The going into hiding thing isn't good. (*winston)
