Looky at what Best Buy has in stock… They usually get their street dated games early, and decided to poke some fun, and see if they already had it in stock in the backroom, and sure enough, they do.

I'm starting to think when a game is announced as gone gold, it is just a PR stunt, to start building hype.

Anyhow, good to know my local Best Buy has them ready to sell, for 360, on June 17th.

The links not working, and ffff….I hate that they have them in stock and are holding them until they're forced to sell by the street date.

I don't think that necessarily means they have them in stock. I think it means they have placed orders and will be carrying them, since its still in pre-order status. The game most likely hasn't shipped yet, or other stores would be getting their shipments as well, not just Best Buy.

well the link doesnt work.

and i highly doubt its in stores already waiting in the back room. a couple days before release date, sure. A whole month+ before? no way.

It's pretty rare for a game to arrive in stores a whole month early, though stranger things have happened. Even Madden which comes in like clockwork every year is only usually two weeks ahead of release depending on where one works.

If they ARE shipping out, and my store has them…we might just have to suffer a mysterious power outage today. he he he

The game mechanics are horrible (”Don't cross streams!'), the graphics are magnificant…ly bad. There is a lot of (expected) campy humor. DON'T BUY IT! Rent it if you REALLY, REALLY have a Ghostbuster fetish…but if you don't, don't waste the $4."
