Ok, today I was watching Lord of the Rings in the theater and I swear, at SO many times I was like “What if Frodo had a proton pack right NOW!” Like when that whole troop of REALLY mean Jamaican Orcs go after the Fellowship… if Stryder had one, he would WASTE them all! Or those damned Wraiths? No PROBLEM! Woosh- Flung across the road. Does anyone else ever feel this way when they watch a movie?

Surprisingly, yes, I do sit and think ‘I wonder what it would be like if the Ghostbusters showed up/the main character had a proton pack’ whilst watching movies

man, if i was there with a pack, id wipe EVERYTHING out. but first, id have to get through getting the damn pack.

A movie like this is “The Haunting” I mean EVERY time I see that movie, in the end when the ghost comes down the stair well, I just hear that pack start up sound and see the stream blasting his patoot up against the wall! It's the perfect scene for it. Oh, by the way, I found the password to this old user name, so I'm pretty sure that “TheGetUpKid” may be taking a break for a while… hehehe.

Well, since orcs aren't supernatural, you'd neutranize them good, but you couldn't trap them (and there's about eight zillion of ‘em; if you could trap them, you’d need a whole containment unit just for them). And it's so much more fun to use a sword for the job 
I'd be interested to see what the Black Riders showed up as on a PKE meter, or Sauron. The science of the Ghostbusters universe dictates that they would be class 4s, since they were people, but through magic and such they are way more powerful than a standard class 4. 7 minimum, and Sauron would probably be 9, if not 10 (I forget exactly what 9s are supposed to be).

……..shades you have GOT to be kidding me……its obvious you didnt read the books anyways the Nazgul werent ghosts! they were corupted men turned into those….thingies AKA the Nazgul and anyways who wants a proton pack to fight off about 15 orcs when you could have a sword like Aragorns?!
