Check out this interview via the AP with Dan Ackroyd - the first part talks about the game, the second offers a new insight into the GB3 plot. Kinda confirms some speculation but interesting to hear it!

If that's what the office writers came up with….then let Dan and Harold write the script…because that sounds dreadful.


Passing the torch to Oscar? Come on guys. SOMETHING new. What's next? We're going to fill the Empire State Building with slime and make it walk down to the Library? eh. disappointing.

The problem is, I fear sony will green light ANYTHING just to cash in on the video game hype, no matter how bad the script is, especially since it's so time sensitive with the game AND the age of the original cast, in hopes of getting this thing bundled up with the new cast and starting a NEW franchise. LAME!!!!! Don't go this route please!

Yeah, that's what I understood: "They are no longer an entity but this kid is grown up now so he is REALLY the next generation Ghostbuster."

Oscar Barret would give continuity to the story arc. it could be neat.

it all depends on how the character is written and who is casted is what my fear goes into.

as long as Dana isnt the damsel/victim anymore. then, im fine.

We havent heard what the movie is ABOUT, just one little detail on one of the characters.

But, Here are my complaints….

-the Ghostbusters no longer exist? okay, so in the VG arnt they trying to open the franchise?
-Theres a whole bunch of continuity and inconsistency with these plot points/ideas, we cant have 2 movies with the team split apart again..ugh..

BUT! Harold is the one looking over the script as far as we know, remember Dan's enthusiasm goes over board, so im not taking anything he says seriously, though any GB3 news is exciting and love hearing it!
