Listen Gang,

Here's the Skinny on old school websites. Before 1995 there were 2 GB websites, and what they did was just summarize the movie- like a school project. Then Bill Emkow created the Ghostbusters HomePage which really set the standards. We learned that we should do something new, creative. He was the first one to team up with a propper and put Prop Plans online to teach us how to build our own Ghostbusters Props. It's WAY more common now, but back then only a few had props.

I'm not trying to crush anyones dreams or hurt your feelings. I'm just trying to reinforce the same standards we had when we were making our old sites. Don't believe me? Look at my crappy old Tripod site:''

GHOSTBUSTERS MAIN

SHITTY! I know, but it started me in the path to Innovation versus making a nicer version of everyone else's site.

I checked out the links section… what a trip down memory lane that was… Unfortunately all I had to go on was memory, most of the sites sadly don't exist anymore. I remember those being some of my favorite and most often visited sites back in the day. Ah, the good ol' days… how quickly they are forgotten. Pretty soon I fear there will be few people left in the community that remember them, but I hope not.

I'll remember, those and the fact that there were few sites out then inspired me to create GB86 in 97. I got a good grade on the paper I did using the info from those guys.
Hats off, man.
