Hey, I found an interesting article about the misfortunes of Sony Pictures lately. It never mentions GB3, but one can't help but wonder if it maybe a sign of something that could be considered again for the studio. Keep in mind that Sony/Columbia Pictures acquired MGM studios and their libary of films. Hence their main concern is the release of the new James Bond film, post Pierce Brosnan, the most successful Bond actor. Die Another Day was the highest grossing Bond film. As were the 4 films Brosnan did. So theres going to be a new actor and they need a big hit. Spiderman 3 ain't coming until 2007. You wonder if GB3 or if Men In Black 3 will be looked upon again in any desperation.
I saw an ET weekly mag and it had Bill Murray on it. I think it said he gets $10 mil a pic.
Remember GB3 was seriously considered in the mid to late 1990's, when Sony's misfortunes at the box office weren't great after they had acquired Columbia Pictures.
