Today i went to a liquer store for one of Dan Aykroyd's signing of his crystal skull vodka. To be honest i was alittle disapointed i can understand he is a busy man i am sure but still didnt seem like you could talk to him ask question or anything. It was pretty much get your two items signed(thats right only two things per person) and a fast picture if you were to slow you have to move on. Though i am sure he is a nice guy and all but still form what i heard for other celebrity visting the store they talked to everyone and had alot of fun meeting them but dan seem to busy to have time to talk to his fans who love him so.(*ray)

Well at least i got to get my poster that Ernie hudson signed now also has Dan's signature two down two to go. aslo got the game and movie good thing i brought my brother.

This is true at most of the Dan signings. In and out. Sometimes at the very end people have had a bit more time with him.

Assuming you were able to get those for free, you should probably count yourself lucky… some people have to pay a lot just for one signature.

Sorry to hear it didn't live up to what you were hoping for… on the whole I'd gotten the feeling that Dan is usually pretty cool and relaxed around his fans… it might've been management that led to the disappointing aspects, rather than Dan himself.

I met Adam West once. He tried (or the agent/guy with him) to charge me for signing a photo that I brought, that I had bought on eBay. He was charging $20-25US dollars for photos he had on the table in front of him. I refused to pay as I paid $40 to get into the convention… I was actually there to meet George Lowe (Space Ghost!). Adam West didn't refute my argument, only his crony… But West was less than impressed when I told him I loved him in Drop Dead Gorgeous.

Well like i said i am sure he is a really cool guy just wish we could have had alittle more face time you know talk. When i met Winston he was so nice talkative and i just had a great time talking about the game and how he liked it and ghostbusters 3 and all that just was a great thing. Just wish i could have done the same with Ray i mean he is the heart of the ghostbusters lol

Well whenever I've met Ernie, there isn't a line through the store and down the block. Believe me, I'm sure if Dan had the time, he'd let you talk his ear off.

When I meet Dan I had at least 5 minutes with him and I believe he signed 4 of my items including the Crystal Head. He took pictures with my son, myself and he actually suggested we take a family picture. My GF was even surprised at how nice he was. She asked me if I was happy that he was so nice and I was. So, I think every persons experience must be different.

That was kind of my experience last November.

I met him, got my figure signed, and a photo, but he was there for a meet and greet, showed up late, was never made available during his “appearance time”, and then bolted quickly out one of the side doors.

If his bodyguard hadn't been so cool, I never would have gotten a chance to meet him.

Don't get me wrong. I genuinely enjoyed meeting him, but it's kind of a bummer to hear a similar experience to mine, and that his rushed attitude wasn't an isolated incident.

Lucky you. I've never met anyone famous. But my Mom met Arnold Schwarzenegger once and got a picture of him.

Off topic, but a few years ago I met Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz on a private party here in my town, when they were filming the movie BANDIDAS, Salma is such a hottie… Penelope is ugly in person.
