Happen to be at Megacon 2010 where Ghostbusters were there, with an Ecto1B.. being a 69 Caddy rather then a 59. But hey each their own. Anyway I was going to ask to display my Ecto 1 with the working lights, but there was a gal who was rather quite rude and dissing of the model, before ever even really seeing it . Anyway I had sauntered off. Later on presented them with the model I had done, and well… They liked it. One mentioned of a cartoon cell of slimer. Well … Sorry I had bought it.

I'm sure someone would have really appreciated seeing your Ecto 1 with the working lights when there was a 22-foot long restored working Cadillac Ectomobile in the same area.

HAY GUYS I KNOW YOU PROBABLY BUSTED YOUR BALLS TO GET YOUR ECTO BUILT AND TRANSPORTED TO THIS CONVENTION, AND IT WAS PROBABLY A HUGE HASSLE TO GET YOUR CAR THIS INVOLVED WITH THE CONVENTION, BUT CAN I PUT MY TOY NEXT TO IT, ITS REALLY NEAT.

You: “Um yes, the model competition was cancelled, and I was wondering if I could stick this here on your table for display.”
Me: “No, I’m sorry, I can’t have anything else on the table, and there is no more room”
You: “FINE! FINE! WHATEVER! FINE FINE!” ***Storms off***

So, now that the conversation has been put up… who had the attitude, and who was rude?
If you wouldn’t have stormed off, and poked at the issue and question at hand even more.. I would have let you know we weren’t allowed as per the con. That our group’s props and those associated were the only thing that could be displayed. We didn’t want the responsibility of watching something that didn’t belong to us, especially if something happened to it. And, we don’t know you.

It is very rude of you, to get upset about something as minor as that, and walk around the con saying “I was rude” to everyone. And then get on here and do the same thing.
And Boomer is right, we went through A LOT to get the ECTO in there, and it was one of the main features of the con. Something that meant a lot to those involved.
And for clarification.. the vehicle is a 1970 Miller Meteor, the car and year that was actually scripted to be in the original movie. And is also partially modeled after the game car.

Never said I didn't like the E1B, I did Like it, and snapped a few pictures of it. And yes I owe you also an apology, publicly at that. I did not hear the word Sorry from you from the start. And if you did, then I do apologize. However I was also upset at a lot of other things which were goin' horrible ontop of it all. So, I extend an apology. I shoulda presented it in a different manner to begin with. But `eh I'd been pushed to the break limit due to other things as well. At anyrate, I was sure it was a 69 Man M caddy package. I don' dis the car, jus was not what was present, again I extend an offering of an apology.
