misfit was right, there are other GB forums out there that are alot more harsh and just tend to be unfriendly. we are a civilized forum, with a few exceptions :p

The original poster was the one acting like an asshole frankly. If I'd met with Dan Aykroyd, posted about it on the internet, and had responses questioning the validity of my comments, I'd quite happily explain the circumstances of how I met him, what he said etc. Its not like I'd have anything to hide, I'd EXPECT people to be sceptical, considering how easy it is to lie on the internet.

Instead, he/she flipped and started hurling firebombs at everyone for not being welcoming enough to new fans. What nonsense! Either they did meet him (and their skin wasn't thick enough to take some mild scepticism) or they were just trolling.

All I know about the prior discussion is that I don't see anyway that PositronCollider is going to survive on the internet. A lot of other message boards and sites make us over here look like a cross between Mr. Rogers and the Carebears.
