Yeah I also agree with GhostbusterChick as well. I don't think I would want to be a mod because I would have make some decisions that would make people get mad at me and things like that. It's almost like a job as well. But I do contribute as well, I never get in trouble, too. I just go by the rules.

Most of the mods that dont post much anymore still check in daily….they just dont post as much (some have said everything there is possible to say about GB lol)
ya got me there Tex! :-) (*ray)
Reguardless i do try and check in everyday and make sure the floors are clean. last thing we need is someone slipping in a pool of ectoplasmic residue.
im gone.

I still stop by on a regular basis too, it's just hard to find topics of interest to post in though. Couple that with the fact that it's summer, my most active time of the year, so that's why I havn't posted much either. I do try and stop by when I have some time to see what's new.

This is a near 3-month thread, but eh…

Someone just said that fewer people post here because all the GB topics have been discussed and there's nothing left to say. I fail to believe that. There's always something to say. Check out the HQ on any given day and trust me…there's always someone with something to say. Start saying what you feel like saying and enjoy conversation like you normally would with your friends. And there you go, the board is alive again.

Yep, and the reason why I don't post on GBHQ is because the general attitude there sucks. Seriously, its bloody hostile.

Many of the people that have posted and still post here are on the HQ. It's really not as bad as you're making it out to be. All it really is, is a frat house or the GB Community's version of a college dorm. No more hostile than what you'd expect from hanging around outspoken friends that you've known for years.

I do have to beg to differ.

Last time I was there, anyone who voiced an original opinion was screamed at with “YOU'RE WRONG!” and insulted in the same manner as the NS forum.

I think that while there's still some room for improvement at GBHQ… I think things have improved a lot, though.

Still, I can understand why Iain doesn't wish to post there. It really is a matter of preference.

It could be the style and format of the way this board is setup, but for some reason I prefer GBC over HQ. I don't really know what it is, but I have always prefered .net/GBC.
