Apparently, instead of releasing a public firehouse like many assumed, Sony is instead releasing a Firehouse for use as a homespace tomorrow.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. It's cool, and I want it, but I hate buying homespaces for HOME.

Anyway, there's a video. Enjoy.

What is a homespace? I'm just wondering, do you have to pay for it monthly or something, something that makes you hate it?

You buy it and it becomes your ‘house’ basically. The thing is, it's gonna be probably $4.99 like they all are, but it's only really useful if you spend lots of other $$ on home to furnish it, and if you constantly have other users to come see it. Spending real money on a fake house…it's different with costumes and stuff, cause others can see them. Any time I've ever met anyone on HOME, if they come to see my homespace they turn into 13 year old perverts.

It'd be better if it was just a space for fans to congregate and chat or launch the game like the Resident Evil 5 space.

Aw, who am I kidding? I'll probably spend the $$. Curse you, Sony!

Ah, just like Second Life, which IMO Home was based off of, but don't worry, if I had a PS3 and Home, I'd more then likely buy it as well.
