Actually, the number in GB2 was not the same as in GB1. The phone number in GB2 was 555-2020. You can see it during the driving scenes with Ecto-1A.
And no, the prop is NOT fake. That website is one of the more legitimate prop dealers, however strange that they mange to mess up on movie dates. The site owner for BTTF.com (Back to the future) has said before that they are legitimate. The phone number here is most likely a goof from the prop department, or they made the prop before deciding on little details like the number.
However the one on eBay is fake, hence his auction description of REPRODUCTION.

I just spotted this little gem for sale on eBay, I already have this even though I do not have a Laserdisc player. This is the collectors edition which is on 4 sides, it opens up real nice with some internal artwork. Also this laserdisc is the only place for certain special features that never made it on any DVD release. You will know it is the corrrect version as the top part of the sleeve is RED as opposed to the normal version which is BLUE.
